Summer Program
The Summer Program at Kumble & Co presents an opportunity for exceptional law students to experience both the Firm’s day-to-day work and broader culture. At Kumble, we don’t promote or showcase particular practice areas or certain partners during our Summer Program. Rather, we believe it is our excellence across many disciplines that sets us apart. All Kumble & Co lawyers work on headline cases and transactions—and summer associates can contribute on multiple levels, participating in our most important deals and disputes.
Our summer program is designed to provide law students with an experience that mirrors the life of a first-year associate.
The Kumble Law summer program is primarily for students who have completed at least two years of law school and are interested in post-law school employment at the firm. Summer associates are encouraged to work on matters in all of the practice areas of interest to them.
Two associates coordinate the distribution of work assignments to the summer class. The summer coordinators meet with each summer associate on a regular basis throughout the program to discuss practice areas of interest and they design a realistic and exciting work experience for each summer associate.
During the summer, select summer associates have the opportunity to spend four weeks working in one of our offices worldwide and some also split their summer with country office or inter-cities. Kumbles' summer program also offers over 42 formal training and practice area programs and overviews. Additionally, the program includes a wide range of cultural and social events designed to introduce summer associates to the city at large and foster and develop relationships with lawyers at the firm.
