Assistant Paralegal 2

Our legal team seeks applicants with 2+ years corporate legal experience and Deutsche Language skills to apply for positions available in the Frankfurt office.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  As an integral member of our team, Assistant Paralegals work closely with Associates and Paralegals on all aspects of case and applications. 

  • Perform intake of cases once assigned.

  • Draft Petitions/Applications and file with government agency.

  • Maintain client contact information. 

  • Provide status updates. 

  • File documents in proper order.

  • Update case management system. 

  • Learn procedural and processing requirements for various types of petitions and applications.

  • Build knowledge of Firm and client processes.

 

Requirements:

  • BS or BA Degree

  • Deutsche language skills required

  • Ability to demonstrate attention to detail.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Achieve high level of productivity.

  • Ability to Multi-task in a fast-paced environment with competing demands.

  • Meets assigned deadlines and communicates case progress/status/issues to supervisor.

  • Demonstrate flexibility and initiative regarding assignments for self and team.

  • Ability to contribute to positive work environment.

 

Associate Immigration Attorney

The ideal candidate will have 1–2 years of business legal experience that includes a full range of non-immigrant categories. PERM experience is also preferred.

Assessing eligibility of corporate foreign national employees for non-immigrant and immigrant visa status in the United States.

Working with client global mobility/human resources personnel to prepare petitions and applications for submission to the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) and the Department of Labor (DOL) for non-immigrant and immigrant status for foreign national employees.

Supporting clients in immigration program management and compliance.

Supervising the work of paralegal staff in record keeping and document preparation.

Other duties as required.

The ideal Associate will have the following:

Candidates will have 1-2 years of business legal experience

US JD required

Member of State Bar Association

Excellent verbal and written communication skills and demonstrated attention to detail

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills within a fast-paced environment

Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with competing demands

Meets assigned deadlines and communicates case progress/status/issues to supervisor

Junior to Mid-Level Associate

Our Hong Kong Corporate law group would like to hire an associate with at least two years’ experience in Corporate Finance ideally with Cantonese, English and Mandarin Chinese language skills to work in the Hong Kong office.
